JIM KAPPES

Jim has a passion for introducing new players to pickleball and helping them build confidence while learning the fundamentals of the game. He specializes in working with beginners and youth players, including kids’ programs and leagues, with an emphasis on making pickleball fun, welcoming, and easy to understand.

He also volunteers in his community to help introduce new players to the game and get them comfortable on the court.

He especially enjoys seeing someone go from being unsure about pickleball to feeling confident enough to play, improve, and become part of the pickleball community. His teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping each player develop solid fundamentals while enjoying the process.
